Executive Order Issued by Governor Michael Prowse to the YIG Program:

Effective February 22, 2010, SC YMCA Youth in Government will hold the first annual YIG 3K Challenge. As governor, I challenge all delegates, alumni and friends of the SC YMCA YIG program, who are able, to help us reach a $3000 fundraising goal via Facebook by March 15, 2010. That is 3 weeks to raise $3000 that will go towards our Open Doors Scholarship program that allows YIG to grant a scholarship to any student in South Carolina, who normally would not be able to afford it, to attend any one of our conferences throughout the year. It breaks down to 300 people giving just $10 or 30 people giving $100. Your donations may be broken up into monthly payments or you can pay it all up front. Make your pledge or donation today and help us allow more kids to be involved in the program we all love and believe in!
